KARACHI: KU exams schedule

KARACHI, Oct 19: The University of Karachi has announced the schedule for Ist, IInd year, and second semester examinations of the Faculties of Arts and Science.

According to a notification, first year BSc (Hons and Subsidiary) examinations will commence on November 15, while BSc (Hons and Subsidiary) examinations of the second year will start from November 16.

The first year examinations of the Arts faculty will start from November 15 and second year examinations from November 16, added the notification.

The chairpersons of the departments have been asked to arrange the schedule of the terminal examinations for IIIrd year Hons and Masters classes avoiding any clash with the Bachelor (Hons) examination schedule.

FORMS, FEES: The examination department of the Karachi University has announced the dates for submission of examination forms and fees for regular as well as external candidates for BA, BSc and BCom Annual Examinations 2001 for the last time.

According to an announcement, regular candidates aspiring to appear in BA, BSc and BCom (Pass) annual examinations this year have been directed to submit their exam forms and fees up to Oct 27, with Rs1,650 for part I or II and Rs2,200 for both parts.

External candidates willing to appear in the same exams have been directed to have their registration with KU exams department from Oct 22 to 27, with Rs2,100 as registration fee, including Rs1,000 as late fee.

External candidates can submit their examination forms and fee from Oct 22 to Nov 3, with Rs2,100 for each part and with Rs3,200 for both parts including Rs100 as late fee.

ADMISSION FORMS: The date for submission of admission forms for bachelor studies at the department of Visual Studies has been extended up to Oct 22.
