Police officer killed

TANK, Jan 26: An inspector of the Frontier Reserve Police was killed here on Thursday night in an ambush on the Tank-Dera Ismail Khan road. Officials said police party was on a routine patrol when their vehicle was attacked by unknown attackers at about 11pm on Thursday, killing Inspector Lukman Hakim Marwat on the spot. The deceased was buried in Taktikhel in Laki Marwat district on Friday.—Correspondent
