KARACHI, Jan 26: The leaders of PTI and APSAC have condemned the bomb blast in Islamabad on Friday and the manhandling of the journalists who had gone to the venue to perform their professional duties.

A statement of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan and other leaders, was read by Zubair Khan. The leaders termed a bomb blast in the high security zone of the federal capital as a failure of the government to protect the lives of its citizens.

They said that such incidents were the result of the government’s policies that were being made and implemented to please the United States. They also condemned the administration for manhandling the journalists who had gone to the blast site to perform their professional duties.

They said that the government wanted to hush up the matter so that its shortcomings were not exposed by the media.

The All Pakistan Shia Action Committee has also condemned the Islamabad bomb blast and subsequent manhandling of journalists.

The APSAC leader Maulana Mirza Yusuf Hussain said the blast was the result of the government’s wrong policies which were being formulated to please its western masters.
