FILA course for wrestlers

KARACHI, Jan 24: Two Iranians are among 17 participants who will attend the FILA International candidate course which formally begins at the Islamabad’s Pakistan Sports Complex on Thursday.

The International Wrestling Federation has appointed Mehdi Khaldi who hails from Iran as course conductor.

The course which concludes on Jan 29 is being held under the auspices of the Pakistan Wrestling Federation.

Participants:

Arshad Sattar, Ishfaq Ahmed, Mohammad Riaz (HEC), Khalid Mehmood Butt, Faheem Anwar (Wapda), Anjum Sohail (Railways), Mohammad Iqbal, Mohammad Anwar, Raja Mohammad Farooq (Army), Boota Anthony (Sindh), Nadeem Naeem, Khalid Yaqoob, Mohammad Siddiq, Khalid Rashid (Punjab), Qayyum Khan (NWFP), Shaukat Sheikh and Mazda Gity (Iran).
