LAHORE, Jan 24: More than 200 men and women will be seen in action when the Golden Jubilee National badminton championship commences in March.

Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF) secretary Aamer Hayat Khan Rokhri said on Wednesday that the exact date of the championship would be announced later after getting the new schedule of the 30th National Games.

The Games were scheduled to be held in February but postponed till March.

He said the PBF would undertake excellent arrangements to mark the 50th edition. The federation would also consider inviting foreign players to make the event more competitive.

He said that Tayyab Sohail, secretary of the Punjab Badminton Association, have been named as organising secretary of the competition.
