Robbers injure man

LAHORE, Jan 22: Robbers injured a man in one of the eight strikes in the city on Monday. Two robbers intercepted Asim in front of his house at Canal Park, Ghalib Market, and demanded cash and cell phone at gunpoint. When Asim put up resistance, they shot at and injured him and escaped with cash and his cell phone.

Four gunmen barged into jeweller Siddique’s house in Sattukatla and took away Rs70,000 in cash, 35 tolas jewellery and other valuables.

Two outlaws entered Zaheeruddin’s house at Farooq Azam Colony in Sabzazar and escaped with cash and jewellery worth Rs100,000 and two cell phones.

Two motorcyclists intercepted a cricketer Imran Saeed at J block in Model Town and snatched Rs11,500 in cash and a cell phone while two robbers deprived Ali Raza of his car (LZL-8451) at Mustafa Town.

Two motorcyclists intercepted Qamar Saeed in the Civil Lines area and snatched Rs8,000 in cash and a cell phone. —Reporter
