PESHAWAR, Jan 22: NWFP Minister for Finance and Environment Shah Raz Khan has said that the MMA-led provincial government will not compromise on rights of the province

He said the province would utilise all available channels within the parameters of law to get net hydel profit.

Speaking at a meeting at the civil secretariat here on Monday, he said that there was no shortage of resources in the province, but unfortunately the province was not given its due rights.

MNA Syed Bakhtiar Maai, secretary finance Zia-ur-Rehman, special secretary finance, additional secretary finance, provincial finance controller and other officers of the department attended the meeting. The minister directed the authorities concerned to ensure judicious distribution of resources.—APP
