Ulema’s entry banned

NAWABSHAH, Jan 19: The Sindh Home department has banned the entry of 18 ulema and zakirs of Sunni and Shia sects into Nawabshah district during the holy month of Muharramul Haram, says an official handout.

The banned ulema and zakirs are: Maulana Ali Sher Hydery, Maulvi Abdul Hameed Lund, Maulana Ghulam Kibria (Lahore), Abdul Ubedullah Sindhi, Maulana Ubedur Raheem (Kamalia), Maulana Sultan Mehmood Farooqi (Multan), Allama Baqar Hussain Najfi (Karachi), Allama Ghulam Raza Jafri (Karachi) and others.

ROBBERY: Armed men snatched two motorcycles in separate incidents in the city on Friday. One person was deprived of his vehicle on Airport Road by armed bandits and another person met the same fate on Essapura Road. No FIRs were registered of the incidents.
