Man shot dead

JACOBABAD, Jan 16: A man was gunned down and another seriously wounded by three unidentified assailants in Thul on Tuesday. Mohammad Usman and Sikandar Jakhrani were present at a hotel when three men armed with Kalashnikovs reached there and opened fire at them.

As a result, Usman died on the spot and Jakhrani was seriously injured. He was taken to a Larkana hospital whereas the body was shifted to a local hospital for autopsy. No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.

The cause of the attack is believed to be an old enmity.
