KARACHI, Jan 16: City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal has announced compensation for the heirs of firemen who lost their lives while fighting the fire that broke out in a garment factory on Monday. Mr Kamal announced that Rs500,000 each would be given to the heirs of the deceased firemen. He also instructed officials to release the amount immediately, said a handout issued on Tuesday. — Staff Reporter
