Published January 15, 2007

PESHAWAR, Jan 14: Senator Maulana Gull Naseeb has said that NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani will take part in the upcoming meeting of the National Security Council.

Talking to journalists here on Sunday, he said the chief minister would attend the meeting of the NSC as the executive head of the province.

Ruling out differences in the MMA, he said the Jamaat-i-Islami and the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam were well-respected parties and would participate in the election from the MMA platform.

He said that the JUI had not supported any candidate in the Bajour by-poll and the people voted according to their own free will.—Online
