SUKKUR, Jan 14: A man allegedly shot dead his wife and another man suspecting that she had illicit relations with him, in Mahiwal Shar village near Daharki on Sunday.

Local people accused Nazar Mohammad Shar of killing his wife Ms Zarina and storming Juma Khan Shar’s house and shooting him dead, too, over suspicions the two had developed objectionable relations.

KIDNAP: A group of armed men kidnapped a teenaged girl from the Muslim Colony in Ubauro on Sunday, the girl’s father told.

Mohammad Shafi Bhatti, 70, said that he had gone to work and his wife had been to market when some unknown people broke into his house and kidnapped his daughter Waziran, 13.

He accused Piyaro Labano, Wazir Labano and Arib Labano of involvement in his daughter’s kidnapping.

KILLED: Armed men gunned down a man when he was waiting for a bus at the bus stand in Ghouspur near Kandhkot on Sunday.

Reports reaching here said that two armed men shot dead Salam Teghani at the bus stand and fled. Police moved the body to local hospital for post mortem. Motive behind the killing could not be ascertained.
