PPP to attend APC: Badr

Published January 13, 2007

LAHORE, Jan 12: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will participate in an All Parties Conference (APC) convened by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in London, PPP General Secretary Jehangir Badr told reporters at the wedding ceremony of daughter of ARD deputy information secretary Muneer Ahmad Khan on Friday.

Mr Badr said there was no difference of opinion between the PPP and PML-N on the issue of the APC. However, the PPP would not like the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal to dictate its terms to the ARD over the issue of quitting assemblies.

Others who attended the wedding ceremony included Yousaf Raza Gilani, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar, Farzana Raja, Aurangzeb Barki, Naveed Malik, Nawaz Gondal, Syed Muneer Gilani, Liaqat Baloch, Amirul Azim, Pir Ijaz Hashmi, Hafiz Riaz Durrani, Pir Noubahar Shah and provincial minister Mian Aslam Iqbal.
