KARACHI, Jan 12: Participants at a demonstration on Thursday criticising the government over its failure to control inflation demanded that prices be brought down so that poor masses could make both ends meet. The demonstration was organised by the United Human Rights Council Pakistan at the Karachi Press Club. They urged the authorities to reduce the non-developmental expenditures and shift the funds thus saved for the uplift of social sector facilities like hospitals, schools etc.
