KARACHI: Conference on imaging

KARACHI, Jan 10: The Aga Khan University is holding an international moot on diagnostic imaging on January 13 and 14 with the support of a group of physicians and Sheffield University, the UK.

The local partners in organising the event, Dr Zafar Sajjad, Dr M Nadeem Ahmed and Captain (retd) Habib Khan, all from the AKU radiology department, addressing a press briefing on Wednesday said the most of the topics to be covered during the conference were related to the issues and developments in the field of radiology.

The purpose of holding conference in Pakistan is to share information and experiences of senior radiologists, update the local health practitioners on the international developments pertaining to radiology with special reference to trauma, oncology, cardiovascular and brain diseases, breast and liver cancers, said Dr Zafar Sajjad, the chairman of the organising committee of the conference.
