KARACHI: JI’s protest day

KARACHI, Jan 9: The Jamaat-i- Islami Sindh has announced it will observe a protest day on January 10 in Sindh including Karachi on the appeal of party chief Qazi Hussain Ahmad.

The party will protest against the holding of by-election in the NA Bajaur constituency which was vacated by the resignation of Sahibzada Haroon-ur-Rashid. Mr Rashid had resigned to protest against the killing of innocent students and teachers of a seminary in a US bombing attack.

The party will stage protest rallies and meetings in different parts of the city and province which will be addressed by the local leaders.
