Man injured over monetary dispute

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Feb 18: Four armed men ambushed and injured a villager over a monetary dispute in the Wanda Kharot village of Kiri Khairore on Sunday.

Sultan and his son, Khan, were returning home after offering Isha prayers when the assailants fired on them, seriously wounding Sultan. His son escaped unhurt.

The assailants, who were residents of the same village, were named as Jalal Din, his brother, Khan Tehsil, Gul Hassan and Ismail.

Sultan was said to have failed to return some money he had borrowed from Jalal.
