KARACHI, Jan 4: St Patrick’s School won the Inter-school Cricket Tournament, beating Lyceum School by 26 runs in the final here at the DHA Cricket Ground on Thursday. The Inter-school 20-20 Cricket Tournament was organised under the aegis of the Pakistan School Sports with the collaboration of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA).

The participating teams included Karachi Grammar School, The Lyceum School, St Patrick’s School, The City School (PAF Chapter), Beacon House A-Level, South Shore School, DHA School, Bay View School, Summit School and Shah Wilayat School.

The matches were played at the National Bank Sports Complex and the DHA Cricket Ground.

The chief guest of the final match was Dr Mohammad Ali Shah, Sports Adviser to Governor Sindh and President KCCA Maj (retd) Tatheer Abbas, ex-director sports DHA, and Hussain Abbas were also present at the occasion.—PPI
