LARKANA, Jan 4: The 79th birthday anniversary of the executed prime minister of the country, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, will be celebrated here separately by the Pakistan Peoples Party, PPP-SB and PPP (patriot) on Jan 5 (Friday).

Syed Qaim Ali Shah, President of PPP Sindh, would preside over a function being jointly held in Waleed village by MPA Haji Munwar Ali Abbasi and Senator Dr Safdar Abbasi. On the occasion, a 79-pound cake would also be cut where the party leaders would make speeches.

Besides a cricket tournament marking the celebrations of ZAB would also be held at Shiakh Zayed Colony's stadium. The main event of the day would be held at a local hotel which would be addressed by Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Syed Khursheed Shah, Raza Rabbani and Taj Haider.

PPP-SB has made separate arrangements for the purpose in Al-Murtaza house. Ghinwa Bhutto, the chairperson of PPP-SB, will participate in the function along with Ms Fatima Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (junior). A cake marking the celebration would be cut. She, along with Ms Fatima Bhutto and ZAB junior would visit Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto and lay floral wreaths and offer fateha on the graves of Z.A.Bhutto, Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Shahnawaz Bhutto.

Meanwhile, the PPP (patriot) has announced holding of a function at a local hotel on January 5. Imtiaz Gaad, president of PPP Patriot, said that federal interior minister Aftab Sherpao will telephonically address the function.
