KARACHI, Jan 4: Accepting the charge-sheet against three suspects in a kidnapping for ransom case, the administrative judge of the Anti-Terrorism Courts, Karachi, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain of the Sindh High Court, on Thursday sent their case to the Anti-Terrorism Court-3 for trial.

Mohammad Ramzan, Mohammad Akhtar and Abdul Ghaffar are charged with kidnapping Mohammad Naeem in the Sir Syed Town area on August 24, 2006. They were also accused of receiving Rs200,000 in ransom from family members of Naeem after keeping him hostage for 12 days.

The investigation officer of the case submitted the charge-sheet against the accused.—PPI
