KARACHI, Dec 30: National Sports Cricket Club defeated Delhi Boys Sports Club by 47 runs in the NBP-KCCA Inter-Club Cricket Tournament at the Tariq Gymkhana Ground here on Friday.

In another match, ZA Sports Cricket Club beat Nazimabad Gymkhana Cricket Club by 44 runs at Bahi Park Cricket Ground.

In another game of the KCCA-NBP event, Pak Star Cricket Club overwhelmed Royal Cricket Club by one wicket after a breathtaking match at the Pak Star Cricket Ground.

Meanwhile, a superb unbeaten 66 by Shahzad Ahmed failed to prevent Northern Gymkhana Cricket Club from winning against New United Gymkhana Cricket Club in an important match of the NBP-KCCA tournament at the Al-Mansoora Cricket Ground.

Batting first, Northern Gymkhana CC scored 152 before losing all their wickets in 33 overs with Shahzad Ahmed (66) and Arshadullah (23) being the main scorers.

In reply, New United Gymkhana CC reached the required target for the loss of three wickets in 21.5 overs. Junaid Qadri (40) and S M Rahim (35) were among the top scorers from the losing side whereas Abdullah bagged 2-43.
