LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 29: The District Development Committee (DDC) approved 130 uplift schemes worth Rs40 million at a meeting held here on Friday. Approved in line with the directives of the chief minister, the schemes pertained to the sectors of communication, health, education, water supply, sanitation and soil conservation. District Coordination Officer Khushal Khan stressed the need for completing all schemes in time. He warned that strict action would be taken in case of any negligence.
