IT returns’ timing extended

ISLAMABAD, Dec 29: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has extended timings for filing of corporate income tax returns on Saturday which is the last date for filing of IT returns and depositing tax.The income tax offices will remain open till 8pm on Dec 30, and all authorised branches of State Bank of Pakistan and National Bank will remain open till 6pm on Saturday for accepting deposits of income tax.

Return forms are available at all stations, and complaints, if any, regarding non-availability of return forms may be directed either to the CBR or the regional commissioner concerned for redressal, said a CBR official.

CUSTOMS: All exporting stations in the jurisdiction of Collectorate of Customs (Exports) will remain open on Sunday (Dec 31). The decision has been taken to facilitate exporters during the Eid holidays, said a Customs press release in Karachi.
