LAKKI MARWAT, Dec 28: Dozen of employees of the Lakki Marwat tehsil municipal administration staged a demonstration on Thursday demanding payment of salary for December before Eidul Azha. President of the Municipal Employees’ Welfare Workers’ Union, Lakki chapter, Khursheed Alam Khan Meenakhel, led the protesters, who staged a sit-in in front of the TMA office. Later, the union leaders held talks with the tehsil municipal officer and nazim. Lakki-II Nazim Jahangir Khan assured the union leaders that he would grant a loan to the tehsil administration for salaries.
