KCCA call up 86 for trials

KARACHI, Feb 17: The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) Sunday named as many as 86 players for trials to pick the city’s two teams for next month’s PCB National One-day Cricket Championship.

According to a press release issued by KCCA’s longest serving secretary Prof Sirajul Islam Bukhari, the cricketers have been asked to report at National Stadium Academy Ground Wednesday and Thursday at 2.00pm in proper cricket dress.

But the KCCA’s press release does not mention whether those players who will be involved for Karachi Whites and Karachi Blues in the last round of Quaid Trophy Grade-I matches are exempted from the trials.

The following cricketers have been invited for trials: Mohammad Masroor, Adnan Kaleem, Bilal Murtaza, Ahmed Shafi, Amin-ur-Rehman, Saqib Zia, Tahir Khan, Rizwan Saeed, Mansoor Baig, Nadeem Shaikh, Irfanullah, Raheel Sayani, Fahad Khan, Mubashir Ahmed, Arif Mahmood, Ashraf Ali, Atif Ali Zaidi, Tabish Khan, Sharif Asadullah, Wajid Ali, Fahadullah, Farhan Iqbal, Salman Khan, Rashid Ghauri, Saif Khan, Ali Jaffar, Muqeem Afridi, Navaid Khan, Imran Umer, Ahmer Saeed, Iftikhar Ali, Zeeshan Pervez, Nadeem Babar, Kamran Ali, Asif Zakir, Aamir Anwar, Fahad Anjum, Ahmer Saeed Senior, Aamir Mufti, Rizwan Hussain, Malik Hassan Javed, Ahmer Saeed Junior, Adeel Mahmood, Zubair Javed, Talib Ali, Saif Ashraf, Tariq Ali, Farman Ali, Mohammad Farrukh, Mir Rashid, Ali Mohammad, Mansoor Khan, Irfanuddin, Adnan Malik, Atif Maqbool, Shahid Iqbal, Jaffar Qureshi, Javed Qadeer, Tariq Haroon, Aqeel Sharif, Wasim Naeem, Tariq Rasheed, Shahid Dawood, Owais Athar Khan, Mohammad Farooq, Kamran Umer, Zeeshan Essa, Mansoor Ahmed, Mohammad Zafar, Anis Shaikh, Kamran Hussain, Mushtaq Khan Afridi, Tauseef Qadri, Ghazanfar Ahmed, Gohar Ali, S.M.
