Nasra School bag TT titles

KARACHI, Dec 19: Hosts Nasra School made a clean sweep in the 14th Wazir Ali Memorial Inter-school Table Tennis tournament by capturing both boys and girls titles at their main campus on Tuesday.

Nasra School (Korangi) inflicted straight 3-0 defeat on Shah Wilayat Public School to claim boys’ crown. Similarly, Nasra School (main campus) accounted for Happy Home School (Gulshan-i-Iqbal) by the identical score line to annex girls trophy.

Twenty nine teams — 16 boys and 13 girls — participated in the event which is an annual feature.

Zulfiqar bt Ahsan Zubair 11-5, 11-4, 11-4; Abdul Rehman bt Bilal 11-6, 11-7, 11-8; Aziz-ur-Rehman bt Raza 11-6, 11-7, 11-5.

(Girls)

Nasra School (main campus) bt Happy Home School (Gulshan-i-Iqbal) 3-0

Parwarshah bt Zoya Anis 16-14, 11-4, 11-5; Madiha Asif bt Tooba Anis 11-6, 11-8, 11-7; Faryal bt Yamna Anwar 11-7, 11-9, 11-8.
