KARACHI, Dec 19: Sindh Health Minister Syed Sardar Ahmed here on Tuesday dispelled that resource constraint was any problem hampering across the board expansion of quality healthcare.

Speaking at the inaugural session of the Sixth International Conference of Pakistan Infection Control Society, he said there was a dire need for prudent and efficient application of available resources.

The provincial health minister on the occasion also pin-pointed absolute lack of coordination among 14 different healthcare projects being managed by the provincial government.

Syed Sardar Ahmed said he fully agreed with Nobel Laureate Dr Sen Gupta that economic development could be attained through investing in the social sector — health and education being its corner stones.
