PESHAWAR, Dec 18: Corps Commander Lt-Gen Mohammad Hamid Khan has said the government is trying to improve the standard of education in the tribal areas. An Inter-Services Public Relations press release quoted him as saying that the government would provide basic facilities in Fata region but tribesmen should focus on acquiring education. He said this while attending a briefing in the Zeralita area in the North Waziristan Agency on Monday. Lt-Gen Hamid was informed that the army had established a middle school for boys in the Nizh Narey area.
