LONDON, Dec 14: The dollar moved higher against the euro here on Thursday as market concerns about the fate of the US economy appeared to ease. The single European currency in late-day trade was at $1.3174 after $1.3212 late Wednesday in New York. The dollar was meanwhile trading at 117.61 yen against 117.50 on Wednesday. On the London Bullion Market, the price of gold rose to $627.40 per ounce, from $624.—AFP
