KARACHI, Dec 12: Three ships carrying containers and diesel oil were accommodated berths at QICT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, another container ship also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Berth occupancy stood at 70 per cent as nine ships, London, CSAV Ningbo, Pacer, Sturdy Falcon, Annie Sierra (under arrest), Legiony Polskie, Capt. George-L, Al-Maqwa and Stella, were busy in loading/offloading containers, rice, seeds, iron ore and furnace oil.

A record cargo volume of 0.105 million tons comprising 0.086 million tons of import and 0.019 million tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as Pacer and Stella left the port while London was due to depart.
