KARACHI, Dec 10: Junaid, Ulfat, Nobahar, Ayesha, Sana Altaf and Kanwal Akbar Ali were given prizes for winning the art and essay writing competition organised jointly by the Child Rights Committee and the Society for the Protection of Rights of the Child in Lyari on Saturday.

The function was organized in connection with the International Human Rights Day to encourage the children belonging to one of the oldest and lower income group locality of the city. More than 200 children took part in the function organised at the Anjuman Muslim Azad Hall.

Children presented tableaux, songs and a play. Budding talents were at their best as Raheel Aziz and six-year-old Shareef mesmerised the gathering with their songs.
