KARACHI: HSC Part-I Humanities result

KARACHI, Dec 8: The Board of Intermediate Education has announced humanities group results of HSC Part-I annual exams 2006 for private candidates.

Of 7,527 registered candidates, 7082 appeared in the exams. The result of 190 candidates was withheld. In all six papers, 306 male and 1,389 female candidates were declared pass; 491 male and 1,083 female passed five papers; 450 male and 834 female passed four; 407 male and 602 female cleared three; 361 male and 361 female passed two papers; while 360 male and 206 female passed only one paper. The pass percentage remained 24.61.

MBBS EXAMS: The University of Karachi will conduct MBBS (Party-A) annual examination-2007 from December 18.

According to the schedule of exams, paper of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and Islamic studies/Pakistan studies will be held on December 12, 21, 27 and 29 respectively. The exam centres for 200 candidates have been set up at political science department of the university from 10am to 1pm.
