KARACHI, Dec 8: Three ships carrying containers and chemicals were accommodated berths at QICT and EVT during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, three more container ships arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy maintained at 80 per cent as nine ships, Al-Manakh, Xiang Wan, CMC CGM Nilgai, Annie Sierra, Legiony Polskie, Capt. George-I Warbah, Anette Kosan and Navious Gemini-s, were buys in loading and unloading containers, seeds, chemicals, diesel oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 54,617 tons comprising 37,753 tons of import and 16,864 tons of export cargo was handled.

Sailings were active as CMC CGM Nilgai, Xiang Wan, Warbah and Navious Gemini-S left the port.
