SUKKUR, Nov 29: The Sukkur bench of the Sindh High Court here on Wednesday allowed Kanwal alias Kiran to go with her parents and ordered police to quash the FIR registered against Niaz Solangi.

Ms Kiran Kumbhar had fled her home in Moro on November 11 and left for Karachi with Niaz Solangi while her parents registered an FIR charging Mr Solangi of kidnapping their daughter.

Ms Kiran admitted in her statement that she had fled with Niaz Solangi as she wanted to marry him of her own free will but after realising her fault, she had decided against it and now wanted to go with her parents.

Mr Solangi told the court that he had married Ms Kiran in a court in Karachi but she now had changed her statement under pressure of her parents and police.

After hearing the couple’s statements, the division bench comprising Justice Zia Pervaiz and Justice Nadeem Azhar Siddiqui allowed Ms Kiran to go with her parents for a surety of Rs0.5 million and ordered the police to quash FIR against Mr Solangi.
