KARACHI, Nov 29: Haroon Rashid Bakhtiar, father of Idrees Bakhtiar, chief reporter of Herald magazine and BBC correspondent at Karachi, passed away after a protracted illness on Thursday. He was 85.
His Namaz-i-Janaza will be held at Mr Bakhtiar's residence — A-170, Block 13 D/2, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, near Wasim Bagh -— on Thursday after Zuhar prayers.
