KARACHI, Nov 29: Five ships carrying containers, chemicals and to load clinkers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Six vessels, Hyundai Future, APL Osaka, Mac Aandresew Swala to unload and load containers, Fifi Queen to unload and load general cargo, Chemstar to offload tallow and Al-Marwah to unload chemicals were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which departed included Mac Aandresew Swala, Gulf Pride, Conti Express and Calvin P. Titus, while Fifi Queen, Energy Ranger and APL Osaka are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 73,508 tons comprising 12,332 tons of export cargo and 61,176 tons of import tonnage was handled. The following ships are due on Thursday: Sun Lavender with chemicals, Lalazar with crude oil, Eric G. Gibson, Orient Independence with containers and Lady Kyriaki to load 5,000 tons of clinkers.
