BAJAUR, Oct 18: Two women were killed and five injured in a landmine explosion in a border village of Afghanistan on Thursday.

A landmine exploded in the border village of Afghanistan, Ghani Pass, situated some eight kilometres from Bajaur Agency, which resulted in the killing of two women and serious injuries to five others.

The women were identified as daughter and wife of former Subedar of the Pakistan Army, Mehmood Jan.
