QUETTA, Nov 27: Nawabzada Changez Marri, son of nationalist leader Khair Bakhsh Marri, has said that innocent people are becoming victims of violence and use of force by both sides. He also said that terrorist incidents were taking place as a result of foreign conspiracies in Balochistan.

Talking to newsmen in Sibi, he demanded that use of force be ended in the province.

He said the Baloch nation, specially the Marri tribe, had been facing problems for centuries because of various reasons and the ongoing use of force from both sides was also badly affecting them.

He said he wanted to bring about a change in the lives of the Baloch people by providing them education and other basic facilities, as he believed in a progressive approach.

However, he said, there were many hurdles in the way, including lack of education, unnecessary criticism, political and social problems and foreign conspiracies.

Nawabzada Marri said that he was not pessimistic and the "sun of prosperity and peace will rise".

He said the death of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti was a tragic incident and a large number of people had lost their lives in the current circumstances but some politicians and parties wanted to do politics on the graves of Nawab Bugti and Marri tribesmen.
