DADU, Nov 27: Protesting against police failure to arrest the culprits who criminally assault a minor girl, members of the gril’s family observed a hunger strike outside the press club on Monday.

The family members included father of the girl, Abdul Majeed Jamali, and his children Ghinwa, Noor Bano and Shoukat.

Talking to newsmen Mr Jamali said that the police had arrested only Sultan Teevno while avoiding to arrest the other accused.

He said that condition of his daughter was showing no signs of improvement which was also confirmed Dr Tahira Arijo of the Dadu civil hospital. She said that evidences indicated that the minor girl had been gang raped.

The family members of the victim sought intervention of the President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz in the matter.
