Fine spell by Saad Naseem

LAHORE, Nov 24: A five-wicket haul by leg-spinner Saad Naseem enabled Government Muslim Model High School, Lahore to win the PCB National school cricket tournament, crushing Government High School, Nanakpura, Peshawar by 193 runs in final at Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.

Saad gave away 46 runs as the losers were all out for 179 in 79.2 overs while chasing a winning target of 373 in the two-day final. Only opener Adnan Khan played a defiant knock of 74, studded 11 boundries off 150 balls.

The winners earned the mammoth total mainly due to a century from opener Irfan Zaman(129, 21 fours, one six) and Kaleem Ahmed (97, 10 fours).
