KARACHI: ADB-funded projects reviewed

KARACHI, Nov 24: Director Operations and Evaluation of the Asian Development Bank Mr R. K. Leonard on Friday called on Chief Secretary Fazlur Rehman and exchange with him views on the ADB-funded projects in the Sindh.

Officials of the concerned departments at the meeting highlighted the ground realities pertaining to the loans, technical assistance, hiring of consultants and capacity building. Mr Leonard assured the chief secretary of his full cooperation in the implementation of the projects.

Additional chief secretaries Mirza Karim Baig and Ghulam Serwar Khero, Secretary Finance, Secretary Implementation were among those who were present at the meeting.
