KARACHI: 3 killed in road accidents

KARACHI, Nov 23: Three persons were killed in road accidents in the city on Thursday.

Police said a young man died when his speeding vehicle crashed into an electric pole in Gulshan-i-Iqbal. The victim was identified as Ashar.

In another accident, an elderly woman, Anwari Begum, died in a hit-and-run accident on Sharea Faisal near Nursery.

In a third accident, a motorcyclist Mohammad Akram died in a road accident near Quaidabad Chowk on Thursday.
