Development work at Port Qasim

KARACHI, Nov 21: Ports and Shipping Minister Senator Babar Khan Ghauri on Tuesday inaugurated major development works at Port Qasim. Port Qasim Authority Chairman Vice-Admiral M. Asad Qureshi and other officers also attended the event.

Some of the major projects being undertaken by the PQA are construction of a flyover at junction of the PQA main access road and National Highway, construction of a 113km-long road network linking different industrial zones, double carriage access road to the PQA and construction of a road bridge over railway line.

With the completion of these projects, the PQA will transform into a modern industrial port and a business hub.
