ISLAMABAD, Nov 17: The pre-qualifying round of the Pakistan Open World men's squash championship completed on Friday at the Mushaf Squash Complex. Eight players who have qualified for two-day qualifying round starting on Saturday (today) are: Waqar Mehboob, Sheikh Saqib, Shoaib Hasan, Obaid Jahan, Nowsherwan, Kashif Khan, Raza Yaqoob and Aaqib Hanif.

Results of the pre-qualifying round:

Waqar Mehboob bt Asghar Khan 11-6, 6-11, 11-4, 11-0; Sheikh Saqib bt Aurangzeb Khan 11-6, 11-10, 11-4; Shoaib Hasan bt Mahad Javed 11-2, 11-5, 11-4; Obaid Jahan bt Waqas Mehboob 10-11, 11-10, 11-9, 11-10; Nowsherwan bt Adil Atlas 7-11, 11-6, 5-11, 11-7, 11-6; Raza Yaqoob bt Ilyas Khan 11-10, 11-0 (retired after 17 minutes); Aaqib Hanif bt Owais Khan 11-5, 11-10, 11-7.—APP
