LAHORE, Nov 12: Mohammad Yousuf became the 28th player to score 20 or more centuries when he made 107 against West Indies in the first Test at the Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday,

More significantly, the 32-year-old right-hander from Lahore is only the third Pakistani to get membership of this exalted club of batsmen after current skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq (25 hundreds in 114 Tests) and Javed Miandad (23 in 124).

Australia overwhelmingly dominates the club with 10 members, followed by England (5), India (4), West Indies and Pakistan (3 each), South Africa (2) and Sri Lanka (1).

India’s batting legend Sachin Tendulkar heads the club with 35 centuries in 132 Tests, followed by compatriot Sunil Gavaskar (34 in 125). West Indies captain Brian Lara, currently playing in his 129th Test here, occupies third spot alongside Australia’s Steve Waugh.
