MITHI, Nov 9: Mahesh Kumar Malani, president of the Pakistan People’s Party local chapter, has urged the Election Commission to take notice of what he called incorrect and flawed voters’ lists of Tharparkar district and to prepare fresh lists.
In a press release issued here on Thursday, Mr.Malani alleged that though the number of enlisted voters, in old voters’ lists in Thar, was 455,105 however, interestingly enough, in the recently prepared voters' lists, the total number of voters has been shown as 387,937 and the same fact shows that instead of increase the number of voters has decreased which creates doubts about the correctness of voters’ lists.
