PESHAWAR, Nov 8: NWFP Health Minister Inayatullah Khan has formed a committee to revise paramedical courses and speed up efforts for affiliating diploma and degree programmes in paramedical courses with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and the University of Peshawar.
Chairing a meeting regarding paramedical courses and degrees on Wednesday, he said paramedics played an important role in providing healthcare services to people and there was a need to improve the education system.
The meeting reviewed measures being taken for restructuring paramedical courses and affiliation of the diploma and degree programmes with BISE and the university.
The minister directed the health department’s planning cell to include construction of a building for a postgraduate paramedical institute in the next Annual Development Programme.
