PESHAWAR, Nov 8: The Pakistan Academy of Letters, Peshawar Chapter, has arranged the launching ceremony of a literary book “Kulyat-i-Sain”, compiled by prominent poet and writer M. Ismail Awan, at the Imam Khomeni Hall of the Khana-I-Farhang-Iran here on Nov 11.

The function will be presided over by renowned Urdu poet and writer Prof Dr Khatir Ghaznavi while Ijaz Ahmad Qureshi, Chief Secretary, Government of NWFP, Peshawar, and Iftikhar Arif, Chairman, Pakistan Academy of Letters, Islamabad, will be participating as guests of honour.

Asif Saqib and Saleem Raz will read their papers while Sajjad Baber, Sultan Sakoon and Sajid Sarhadi will recite their poems. Prof Nasir Ali Syed will be the compere. Writers and poets have been invited to the ceremony.—PPI
