KARACHI, Nov 5: In response to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain’s appeal, party workers and supporters have been registering their names in large numbers with the MQM’s welfare wing, the Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation, to donate blood for the victims of dengue haemorrhagic fever.

According to a statement issued from the MQM headquarters, ‘Nine Zero’, people from various parts of the city were registering their names at the KKF office in block 14, Federal B. Area.

KKF chief Shaikh Liaquat Hussain has advised dengue victims, community centres and hospital managements to contact the Foundation’s camp on telephone numbers 6811918 or 6374883 for acquiring blood.
