KARACHI, Nov 4: No Pakistani succeeds to find a place among top-25 as the Players Squash Association announced world rankings on Saturday for the month of November.National champion Mansoor Zaman slipped one spot down to 29 while his cousin Shahid Zaman, the Pakistan number two, retained his No. 30 position.

However, Amir Atlas improved his ranking from 53 to 43.

Former Pakistan Open champion Amjad Khan fell two places down to 70 while Khayal Mohammad (72) and Arshad Iqbal Burki (75) were other Pakistanis among top-100.

Meanwhile, Egypt's Amr Shabana retained his supremacy in the new ratings. He is followed by Australian David Palmer (2) and France's Thierry Lincou (3).

England's 23-year-old James Willstrop returns to No. 4 while Frenchman Gregory Gaultier leaps two places to No. 5.

Egypt's Ramy Ashour – the only teenager in top-40 – has made further strides this month since bursting into top-20 last month.

The 19-year-old is at No. 9, the second-highest-ranked Egyptian in the list.

Despite the retirement of Peter Nicol, England's presence in top-20 is unchanged following the entry of Peter Barker.

The 23-year-old left-hander from Essex, who won the Colombian Open in September and was a surprise Hong Kong Open quarter-finalist, celebrates a career-high No. 20 ranking.—PPI
